Eastern Seaboard Ice Cream Monster

Recently read:

"The US eastern seaboard consumes 

almost 50% of all ice cream sandwiches."

And in my mind:


I knew they meant the p­eople on the

eastern seaboard, but because of the way 

it was written all I saw in my mind’s eye 

was the entire eastern seaboard rising up 

like Godzilla and roaring "ICECREAM" 


before taking a bite out of the shoreline.
